Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to a generous donation from an anonymous sponsor and the kindness of the awesome Dean Gouvea of Steel and Pipes for Africa who supplied the materials and did an absolutely superb job building the ‘cage’ fence we so desperately needed.
We were getting broken into and our containers vandalised increasingly. We now have strong fencing which encloses the area, and metal cages to protect the treatment room window and the solar water heater (both of which were damaged in incidents of vandalism). These measures will hopefully ensure that the vandals go elsewhere to amuse themselves!
The walls of the containers were covered in rude scribbling, and, no matter how many times we removed it, it returned because we could not keep the offenders away. There was also always rubbish, broken glass, and other mess at the doorstep when we arrived. Now the fencing is in place it has been possible to clean everywhere up and repaint at last.
THANK YOU! You guys are definitely official Friends of FAW!
