This is the second time we’ve been handed a terrapin. Last time it was a baby; this time an adult! The little guy/girl was set free in a natural environment where other terrapins live as we were not told where this one had come from and could not take it home.
We’re grateful it was given to us so that we could ensure it was safe and could be returned to the great outdoors.

Please, unless it is injured or in imminent danger of being injured (e.g. in the road), don’t remove wild animals from their habitat or keep them as pets.
